You’ve asked and asked and asked and asked, but guess what? We’ve been listening! And now we’re more than excited to announce that it’s finally here. Invite-a-friend! That’s right. You can now share the savings and spread the wanderlove to your friends, family, and buddy pass riders (even if they’re not airline employees)!

What does this mean? Essentially, you can now tell your “closest” friends and family that you’re not their travel agent anymore. They can create their own ID90 Travel account and access the same exclusive rates you get. Exciting right?

Now before you jet off (hehe, airline humor) to invite away, let us quickly walk you through the deets and the how-to. It’s pretty simple, honestly, and we’re pretty sure the feature’s going to be your new best friend. So get excited (especially to tell all those relatives at Thanksgiving to “Get their own”) and read on.

How to Invite-A-Friend

Step #1: Give $10

To get set up on Invite-A-Friend the first thing you’ll need to do is sign into your ID90 Travel Account. Once you’re there you’ll see the heavenly beacon (that is the Invite-a-Friend button) floating towards the top right of your page. Click there and you’ll be introduced to our Invite-A-Friend dashboard.

Next, simply add your humans’ emails to the invitation bar (and don’t forget to click “Send Invites”), or copy and paste your unique link to share elsewhere. What happens next depends on whether you sent an email or shared your link. Those sent an email can open into the site to sign up straight from there.

You’ll be able to monitor the signup status of those emailed near the bottom of the page. Once they sign up they automatically get $10 to use on their first booking of a hotel that’s $100 or more!

Step #2: Get $20!

So we’ve already gotten your very dear friends off your back, but don’t think that’s going to stop us from sweetening the deal even more. We’re going to give you $20 to use towards your next booking, and it stacks! Let us explain. The moment your invited friend makes a booking and uses it (completes their hotel stay), you get $20 towards your next hotel.

So if you have 5 friends, they all make hotel bookings in Cancún and go next weekend, you’ll have $100 waiting for you to use on your ID90 Travel account. What’s the limit to that? There isn’t one, so invite away! The more you invite, the more you’ll save on travel.

Step #3: Go on an Adventure

What’s the final step to the process? Go on an adventure! Like we said above, the more you invite, the more friends that sign up and use our incredible deals, the more money you’ll have to go exploring yourself! So start making plans and share that link like crazy. You never know where it might lead you

Frequently Asked Questions

Now we know y’all, and we know you’re already excited to work this system. So in preparation for that, we’ve gone ahead and created a little FAQ section so that you know exactly how it works and what you’re getting into.

#1. Can I invite non-airline industry people?

Yes! Seriously. Anyone who knows you has access to ID90 Travel through you. You can invite your crazy roommate from college, your mom who loves to travel with a marg, your dog-walker’s cousin, and all of your Facebook friends. They won’t get access to flights or secure airline employee information, but they can use ID90 Travel to have adventures with you (or without you!). YA WELCOME.

#2. How do I invite family and friends?

I mean, see above, but once more for the people in the back… Once you login to your account, click the button in the upper right-hand corner. You’ll be directed to our Invite-a-Friend landing page. From there you can enter unique email addresses or copy your personal link to share via text, social or email.

#3. Do I have to use my referral code? How does ID90 Travel keep track of my invites?

If you want your $$, use your unique code or add emails directly to the Invite-a-Friend dashboard. You will be able to see your pending invites, accepted invites and more there. We even added a handy-dandy reminder button so you can motivate your friends or resend that email blerpity blop “lost”.

#4. So… how do non-industry people login if my login asks for an airline code?

Once you’ve shared the link or added an email address, the invited friend clicks the link in their email and will get re-routed to a personalized ID90 Travel experience tailored just for friends and family of the industry. All they need to log in is the invite from you and a personal email to create a password.

#5. Can friends who are invited, invite friends?

Nope. Sorry.

#6. Will I get my $20 referral reward once my friend signs up?

Nope. Your friends or family members must complete a successful hotel stay in order to earn the $20 referral reward. That means booking a hotel and canceling it, unfortunately, doesn’t count.

#7. My friend booked a hotel, so why don’t I see my referral reward?

We reward customers once their friend books a trip and completes their stay, that is to say, they check-in to the hotel and do not cancel their booking. We do this as a means to avoid fraudulent activity, i.e. friends booking, canceling and giving $20 to the airline customer.

#8. Can I choose when to apply my referral reward?

At this time, referral rewards will be automatically applied to the next hotel booking. Customers will not have the option to choose when to use the referral reward.

#9. If I have $200 in my account and book a hotel for $100, will I still have the other $100 left over?

Certainly! We will maintain your referral reward balance to ensure you get the most out of our referral program.

#10. If I cancel my booking with referral rewards applied, will I get my referral reward refunded to my account?

At this time, referral rewards are non-refundable. Once you use the reward, you are unable to redeem it from a cancellation.

     ???

Get excited Interliners! We are. Thank you for letting us share this with you today. Please feel free to go straight to your page and start handing out invites (if you’re not already doing so). Until next time, safe Thanksgiving travels and keep your eyes on the skies!
