Hello, summer! And hello updates! It’s that time again, you know, where we catch you up on all the things we’ve been up to here at ID90 Travel. We’ve got a pile of changes to show you, and we think you’ll be pretty pumped. We sure are! There’s plenty of updates to the flight product, hotel product, oh… and did we mention that COBUS is coming to the mobile app, too? (Sure we did, that’s why you clicked on the article!)
Now, real quick, in case you’ve just now come across us, let us quickly explain to you who we are. We’re ID90 Travel, your friendly Interliner secret, and an Airline Employee’s best friend. We offer flight ticketing for partner airlines, and Interliner discounts on hotels, cars, cruises, all-inclusive resorts, and more to all (airlines and their employees, that is). We’ve got a super easy-to-use and beloved mobile app, and a Customer Support team that’s absolutely hard to beat.
There. Now you’re all caught up. Well, we won’t keep you waiting any longer, let’s get into it, shall we?
What’s New in Flights
Oh, flights, one of our favorite products. Man, has flights gotten cool this June! First of all, we’ve gone ahead and simplified the checkout form for our Airline Partners. There’s a lot behind it, and we could go into depth on it (and also bore you to death in the process), but the gist of what you need to know is that you (or your employees) will have to put in a lot less information to get a flight booked.
Next, we improved flight listing and company business email confirmations. The more modern the easier to use, the better, we say! And speaking of our Airline Partners who utilize company business flights, you’ll be happy to know that service finally available on the mobile app. Here we go, more business on the go!
Finally, and most importantly, customers can now find all of their ticketing, listing, and COBUS reservations under “My Trips” > “Flights” when on the mobile app. Pretty soon they’ll also have the ability to make new reservations there as well! No more clicking through on an email to gain access to COBUS authorization, employees granted access by admin will just need to open their app.
What’s New in Hotels
Hotels! Another one of our favorite products! (Ok, TBH, they’re all our favorite products. 😉) Have we’ve got some changes for you. We’ve added this handy dandy feature we
think know you’ll love, and it has to do with recently viewed hotels. Ever perform a search, end it, then wish you could just pick it back up and look one more time? Now customers will have that ability! See “Recent Searches” on the home page to pick up right where the search left off.
Next, in easy-searchin’, customers can now swipe to view available hotels when using the map view on the app (and early adopters are living for it!) Besides being able to view the hotels in one’s map search area, customers can also now view trending destinations there as well. The features fueled by what other customers search for most in that spot, which means that Airline Employees are getting good information from their fellow community (which we feel is a huge win).
What else we got? Well, let us tell you. Another thing customers can now do is view full-screen hotel images when on the hotel detail screen (we know tiny those tiny images ain’t no good), as well as sort their searched hotels by distance by particular airports! No more squinting or jumping back and forth between the app and your maps.
Finally, our goal here is to always make life easy, and we know that traveling the #NonRevWay can sometimes be anything but. So we’ve added the ability to book trip insurance when purchasing a hotel on the app. Make sure cash comes back your way in case that inevitable (albeit carefully planned) something falls through, or life gets in the way. #WeGotYou.
What’s New in Accounts
Alright, here’s a few last things you’ll want to know. As far as listings go, customers can now cancel or modify their listings on the mobile app via “My Trips.” Easy-peasy-chicken-squeezey, no more diggin’ in that endless hole that is your email inbox. And (we’re pretty stoked about this one) you can tell your retiree friends that they can create an account using our brand-spankin’-new retiree form.
Our Customer Support team already does an amazing job getting retirees ready to go (on the trip they can now book on their new ID90 Travel account), but we wanted to make it an even easier process. CS will now review retirees’ applications and validate them within a 24-hour span. Don’t worry about digging deep for that old training class photo (although we do sincerely enjoy seeing them), or being frustrated by the lack of an official airline email. We’ll hook you up!
