She’s beauty and she’s grace, she’s our Customer Support face… meet Magdalena! She’s our artsy, dedicated runner (except for when she broke her hip), with a heart of gold! As one of our Customer Support supervisors in the Argentina office, Maggie’s that lovely voice you’ll hear when you ask for your case to be escalated.
A solid gem, we think you’ll enjoy getting to know this sweet gal. Read on to do so!
My name is Magdalena, Maggie, Magg, and Magui. Sometimes it is also;
“I have a question!”
“What does it mean?”
and “What should we do about..?”
I am a member of the greatest Customer Support Team ever! I’ve been an agent, but am now the Night Shift Supervisor. I’m also the work carpool driver and lead carpool karaoke singer.
Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Córdoba, Argentina, and that’s where I live and work today!
Imagine you’re given an unlimited budget and unlimited time, where would you travel?
I can’t pick one place! I’d probably start by getting some flight tickets to cities on each continent, then rent campervans and drive… probably starting in Africa. I haven’t visited any countries on that continent yet!
What is the last thing you watched on TV or the last book you read?
I just watched a YouTube video of Sondre Leche playing the song Reminisce live on KFOG Radio. I have a crush on him. The Last book I read was an art book called Wild Art, and I haven’t finished it yet, but it has so many amazing pictures! The last thing I watched on Netflix was The Honeymoon Stand Up Special with Natasha and Moshe, and I watched it after my shift.
What is your go-to traveling hack/tip?
Not sure if this would help anyone as a tip, but, here it goes… Since I only travel with what I can carry on my back, I learned how to fold and roll clothes to make it tiny and fit in my backpack. Want some instructions? DM me.
Who inspires you? Where do draw your motivation from?
This may sound cliché, but my parents inspire me. My dad is very creative. He’s always working on something new (whether it’s a vertical garden or building a chair from a pile of wood)! My mom is the strongest person I know, she can do anything! They are a good combination. I like to think I have a little of both of them.
Is there something you’ve always wanted to do, but have never had the chance to?
I’d love to do it all! Shark diving, bungee jumping, skydiving… sign me up. I have gone shark diving already, but they were babies, not that hard to do, but incredible to watch. Once I almost went paragliding, but the wind just changed and we couldn’t do it. I would love to try again!
Tell us three things about yourself & make one a lie.
I don’t know how to ride a bike. I got lost in Disney World. I have a panda bear tattooed on my back.
What’s the best trip you’ve ever been on?
Sorry, I can’t pick one! I went to Bilbao three years ago and fell in love with the city. I went to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia two years ago and left my mind there. Lost it! I have unforgettable trips with my family and friends. They are all special!
What’s your favorite kind of vacation?
I love them all, but my favorite kinds are those where I can move around. I love walking, taking trains or buses. I don’t mind getting lost if I’m on vacation.
What’s your most bizarre talent?
I can turn my arms from front to back holding my hands together. Is that bizarre? (*Sure, we’ll allow it. But picture or it didn’t happen.*)
What’s your travel style?
If you could trade lives with someone, who would it be and why?
I would like to be someone who knows how to sing and dance, those features were not included in this body. So maybe it’d be cool to be like a female Bruno Mars. Especially with all the traveling on tour, but instead with smaller audiences… I’m not a fan of crowded places.
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Kind of nuts.
Love ya Mags. Never change! Until next time Interliners, safe travels and keep your eyes on the skies!
