Hello Interliners! We hope you’ve been traveling it up and flying safe. We’re here again today to introduce you to another phenomenal ID90 Travel teammate. His name is Lucas, and he’s the Technical Lead at ID90 Travel Argentina. The Texas office was fortunate to have him (as well as some other Argentinian team members) in Grapevine recently. So we can’t wait for you to meet him, as we’re sure you’ll love getting to know him as much as we did!

Name/Nickname:

Lucas & “The Forchinator”

Position:

Technical Lead, I work with friends developing amazing things for ID90Travel.

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Córdoba City, Argentina, known as “the world fernet capital.” Fernet is an Italian drink, and almost 3 million liters are consumed there annually.

What is the last song you listened to, or TV show you watched?

Music: Mariposa Pontiac – Patricio Rey  (Argentinian Rock )
Books: Technical books mostly
Netflix: The OA

If you could trade lives with someone who would it be?

I would trade lives with my dog, for at least one day. That pup gets a lot of sleep and gets to rest and relax all day. Wouldn’t that be the life!

Who (or what) inspires you to be the best you?

What inspires me most is knowing that I create things that can be used to help people around the world.

Tell us three things about yourself & make one a lie.

I don’t do social networks. I really love what I do at ID90 Travel. Like many Argentinians, I’m an incredible soccer player.

What is one adventurous thing you’d love to do but haven’t had the time to recently? (Shark diving, bungee jumping, etc.)

Those options sound pretty intimidating. But what I think would really get my blood pumping is driving around Dallas on one of those huge highways (or mixmasters) without a GPS. *shudder*

What’s your favorite kind of vacation?

Beach holidays, definitely. I don’t live close to the sea, so every opportunity I get to go to the beach – I take it!

You’re given an unlimited budget and unlimited time, were do you travel?

I would go all over the world. I’m not sure about an specific place at the moment, but I would like to start in Europe. Cities like Paris call to me, they’re so beautiful!

What is your most bizarre talent?

I can work while I’m watching television with the dog on my lap. #mulitaskingpro

What’s the best trip you’ve ever been on?

To the Caribbean with my wife, not only because of the place but also the person I traveled with! We really enjoyed the all-inclusive resorts, sun, ocean, and my personal favorite was the in-pool bar! All-inclusive resorts are great, so we spent a good chunk of time at ours, but we also got a chance to see some cultural activities and to take a trip to downtown.

What’s your “travel style?

I’m not sure, maybe “the-last-minute-traveler” style? I don’t worry too much. I prepare everything mere moments before a trip, double checking that my passport and credit card are packed.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Friendly, Helpful & Passionate
