Product Management – Web Analytics Specialist

As a Web Analytics Specialist, you will be an integral part of our product development and marketing strategy. You will be responsible for collecting, synthesizing and visualizing user behavior and booking trends to better understand the needs of our customers. You will manage all Google Analytics (GA) accounts, be responsible for our tagging strategy, provide actionable insights and ensure our documentation is up-to-date. You will also help manage and report our Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns across Adwords and Facebook.

This role will sit within the Product Management team, but your work will inform decisions across the organization including Marketing and Technology. You will own our web analytics but would also be involved in projects in Search Advertising, Retargeting and A/B testing.

You love crunching numbers, passionate about uncovering motives driving user engagement and a confident storyteller. The ideal candidate for this position is highly analytical, intellectually curious, an exceptional communicator and one who is willing to get their hands dirty.

Web Analytics Specialist Responsibilities:

Work closely with product and marketing to assess the effectiveness of campaigns
Tell insightful yet concise stories from complex datasets
Visualize and communicate the impact of features across business units
Manage our tagging strategy across all categories and products

Requirements:

3+ years experience with online marketing and analytical research
Deep understanding of Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
Experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management tool
High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, etc.)
Working knowledge of Adwords, Optimizely, Survey Monkey and Inspectlet
Must be detail-oriented, analytical and results-driven
Experience working within an Ecommerce organization is a huge plus
Experience working within an AGILE environment is a plus
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery is a plus
